BlogHer Conference

I am listening to the keynote breakfast talk: What Humans Do with Artificial Intelligence on day two of the BlogHer Conference here in Chicago.

Last night I met nearly 40 food bloggers from around the world at Lao Sze Chuan for dinner.  It was quite an experience to meet the authors of some of my favorite food sites in person.  I will post more on Waupaca, the food blogger dinner and BlogHer soon.

Bill - Trackbacking your entry…

I found your entry interesting do I’ve added a Trackback to it on my weblog :)

Kalyn - Gemma it was so fun to meet you. Thanks for all your work organizing the dinner.

Nupur - Gemma, it was so much fun meeting up with all the bloggers that night…the food was excellent. Thank you for helping to organize the dinner.
Thank you also for helping me with transportation. That was so sweet of you. As you can see, I did get home safe :)

Ruth - Gemma, Friday night’s dinner was awesome – the food, and more importantly the comradarie. It was fantastic! Thanks so much for organizing it all.

Joanna - Gemma, that picture is making me hungry again. Thanks again for organizing the dinner. It was great to meet you. Hope to see you again soon.

Anali - Hi Gemma! It was great meeting you! I had so much fun at the dinner. And thanks for helping us get back to the hotel on the Red Line. I can finally say that I’ve been on the L! : )

Alanna - Hi Gemma, it was so great to see you (lucky me, again!) and I love-love-love the photo Elena took of you at our food blogger dinner. You and Terry were so GREAT about making all the arrangements and I see from here, you kept helping us negotiate the city even after the food left the table. Me, I’m still reeling from the entire weekend, so many people, so many great conversations. Hugs to you, til next time …

s.e.s. - That’s a beautiful photo. Though that does not look like spinach, but water spinach, which is quite a different vegetable. I’m curious to know which one it is. Garlic kangkung or water-spinach is simply the best thing on earth!
Btw, kudos on the great blog. I love flicking through. Your blog has afforded me untold pleasures!
